Time: Doors open at 5:30pm. Program begins at 7pm.

Location: Foss Waterway Seaport, 705 Dock Street, Tacoma, WA 98402

Theme: Under the Sea – Dress to impress with ocean-inspired colors and patterns! Costumes are encouraged but not mandatory.

Funds raised at Cheers to a Healthy Bay directly support our efforts to:

  • Hold polluters accountable by enforcing environmental laws, working with government agencies, and engaging the community to stop harmful pollution.
  • Advocate for strong environmental policies at the local and state levels to ensure lasting protection for our waters and communities.
  • Engage and empower the community through youth education, community outreach, and hands-on volunteer opportunities like beach cleanups.
  • Monitor Commencement Bay and South Sound waterways through our patrol vessel, identifying and addressing pollution that threatens our environment.

By attending Cheers to a Healthy Bay, you’re contributing to the protection and restoration of local waterways and surrounding neighborhoods.

Frequently Asked Questions

While this is a formal event, we also encourage guests to embrace the Under the Sea theme with ocean-inspired attire. Think blues, greens, coral shades, or fun sea patterns. Express yourself and have fun with it!

No, our dinner is served family-style and will include a variety of proteins, vegetables, and sides. You will enjoy a delicious meal centered around shared food, conversation, and connection while you bid on fantastic auction items.

If you have other dietary allergies, please email kstone@healthybay.org so we can accommodate.

Upon checkout of your table, you will not need to enter all of your guests information, however, you will be provided a code to return and complete it prior to the event. Keep this code handy as we are not able to give it to you again!

There is a large parking lot located next to Foss Waterway Seaport and street parking is also available along Dock Street.

We encourage carpooling and public transportation!
